I don't know a better place to post it. I suppose there'd be a shit ton of philosophers and anthropologists around here.

The question is why do I feel bad for this person?
I tried analyzing my emotions for myself, and I couldn't come to an answer.

I supposed it could be altruism, wanting my species to survive, but if it's just that, then why do I have an overwhelming urge to travel to asia and kill the perpetrators?

I suppose I could've been just putting myself in her shoes, but then why the fuck? I never do that shit. I'm not trying to seem all cool and macho, but usually I don't give a shit about what happens to people.

It can't be love, because I've never even seen this girl before in my life, and I don't even know what she looks like.

Why am I so disturbed about this? Could some one try to give me a clear answer?
