Entertaining story, interesting look at the USSR's brand of Marxism. I enjoyed Orwell's books but I don't try to read so deeply into them politically as most people, because many of the scenarios, despite their reasonable use as metaphors, are patently absurd.

For example, animals could never speak English. They lack the necessary anatomy.

In a many ways, this book by George Orwell, Animal Farm, is compatiable to ony of my alltime favorite classics, The Twilight Series.
It shares a varity of many of the same main componets like an in depth perscription of the working class citizens and how they rise against everything to amke the world a better place.

Well, you see, Bella is obviously a symbol for the proletariat, continually subjugated and abandoned by Edward (the bourgeoisie). The whole Twilight Saga is a commentary on class conflict and class ascension in the case of Bella. Twilight is such a great class commentary because of the incredibly sad ending where the proletariat can only find happiness in ascending to the level of the bourgeoisie.

Edward's bloodsucking ways are symbolic for the way the upper-classes earn their luxuries from the sweat and the blood of the proletariat.
