I recently finished this book.

Positive remarks:
- Well written, smart, drew me in etc
- Interesting philosophical themes and ideas on anthropocentrism, overpopulation, 'the good life' and whatnot
- Cool approach to have a talking Gorilla lecture to the main character
- Overall a nice read, I'm glad I picked it up

Negative remarks:
- I get Quinn's environmental agenda but I'm not really on board
- What am I to make of "humans are fucking up the world and need to rethink how we live"? It has been said before but this book just says it in an intriguing way
- Ultimately I'm all for humans destroying themselves in the end so whats the big deal with trying to save something that is already broken?

Any thoughts people? Maybe a discussion about its prevalent themes and what Quinn did well and not so well would be cool.
