Because The Quran tells a man how to live and gives mere instructions (most of the time, compared to the bible), but not how to imagine/philosophize or to criticize ideas in a way that forms an independent person. This is orthodox muslims are mostly extremists.

Not him, but the King James bible is considered the most poetic and beautiful translation of all. Maybe that is why it is not the most accurate, but it still retains the message, for sure.
