Socrates's back and forth with Agathon doesn't merely address Agathon, but all of the other speakers, but in such a way as to appear to only scrutinize Agathon's view. His speech also addresses all of the prior speeches.

Seating arrangements are more important then most people would admit. Especially at the end.

Alcibiades's understanding of Socrates is shown to be lacking insofar as his understanding of the exterior appearance of Socrates ends up being no different then his understanding of the inward truth of Socrates.

Read Aristophanes's "Frogs" if you get a chance; there are subtle references to it throughout the dialogue.
