How should I begin with Hegel? I want to capture as much of his philosophy in as few readings as possible (mainly because I'm awful about tackling thousands of pages of reading).

What work of his should I begin with?

First of all, do you have a deep understanding about the theoretical and practical reason tradition, Kant's critiques and their reworks (Made by Schelling, Fichte and Schiller? Do you know german in order to read the academy edition?

If not, don't even try and go read Wittgenstein or Russell.
