Where the fuck are these people?

There's not such things as “high level discussions” on blogs' comment section, original poster, you have been deceived. Most of the speakers, if not all, are absolutely clueless and hide their own ignorance under plagiarized paragraphs, knowledge gained on Google in the last minutes and arrogance. It's a game they're all aware of, that's why they sometimes make concessions to each others to lure the most gullible ones into thinking this is a genuine debate. Cut the wireless network off and note how the become quieter.

An essay requirement of some sort was my first idea since only the people dedicated to the concept of the site will actually be arsed to fill it out but I don't know how you'd want to go about processing the registrations.

A number of different available IQ tests, maybe limit it to certain Myer's Briggs ratings?

>IQ tests

the problem with them is that they don't measure the capacity for original thought or the quality of one's expression

IMO essays would be the best but the guy who evaluates them would have to be really fucking smart, with good taste

I found some at my cow-town university. I was so happy

But social drama wormed its way into the equation and I haven't seen them for a month and I'm finding myself trying to consult my dead uncle and receiving only sad songs
