Are there any great books about love that are about how great love is and make you feel happy that the people in love found love and feel the power of that emotion and that don't sour and turn bitter and aren't too cheesy and pandering and don't turn into gross tearjerkers at the end? Just a mature thoughtful moving book about nice people falling in love with each other and it working out?

Middlemarch is actually about functional and dysfunctional love. One of the plots is this exactly. It's a wonderful book and I genuinely hope you'll read it.
