I'm handing out Oxford World's Classics for Halloween this year.

Anyone else using today as an opportunity to enrich the intellectual lives of the next generation?

Are they ones that dumb kids might conceivably be able to discover an appreciation of literature from?

Otherwise it's just a waste of everyone's time.

Belt around the neck and some duct tape on your wrists, maybe a little blood on your knees. A tennis racket if you must belabor your identity.

Does anyone have a complete list of every Oxford World's Classics book, sorted by date? Date of original writing that is, not the date of publishing.

>giving marx to children
Marx is shit reading for adults, it's just a long train of frustration at his horrible 19th century german putting crucial verbs at the end of a seven line noun phrase and his idiotic ideas that somehow duped tens of millions of people into throwing their lives away

Not op, but these are what I'm giving to the kids who can answer the most trivia questions. This, and two king size candy bars of course.

I hope they will like Lord Jim as much as I did when I was a young lad. Nostromo is probably a bit too dense but whatever, I got these books for free.
