Prove me wrong.
In the novel "things fall apart" chinua achebe uses long, detailed sentences to create a relationship between Okonkwo and the reader.

Between yams?
>yams have no relation with the reader

Achebe often writes in a plain and factual style that creates a neutral, detached tone to the novel which heightens it's realism.
Anyone think they can make a good paper off this ^

Theses are meant to supply a basic, "road map," for the following essay. The one you presented is base and could suffice in an informal paper, but, as an isolated sentence, it does not serve as a thesis.

What? What kind of a relationship? Why do long, detailed sentences do this? That sounds like a truly awful thesis to centre an essay on, but maybe you can astound the world by actually doing something with it.

I dont think its necessarily his reasoning for writing that way. Writing styles can have all kinds of different purposes, and the creation of that relationship could merely be a result of the sentence structure without being the reasoning for it.

But look at that edge, that teenage angst. Even the cringiest phrases such as, "Bid my blood to run," and , "Save me from the nothing I've become," have held steadfast throughout the various veils of language. How poetic is it that the quintessential edge of mid 2000s music is constant around the world?
