What does /lit/ think of Foucault? I've seen Nietzsche and postmodernism discussed here , but never Foucault. Do you guys just thinks he's a hack, or do you like his work?

This is how I feel about him, and it seems to be the general consensus here. All of us pretty much hate each other, I guess.
Why do so many people hear about his conception of knowledge as a product of power relations and immediately jump to the most idiot conclusions you can derive from it?
