I don't care what it is. Nietzsche spoke of nihilism as an unfortunate transitory state before one could actually be considered an ubermensch. The ubermensch has seen that no inherent value exists in the universe but he refuses to stagnate like the nihilist and instead implies his own value system onto the world around it.

This isn't simply a hedonism thing. The nihilistic hedonist is not an ubermensch. He is a profoundly sad and aimless creature. The Ubermensch sees the state of the world yet perseveres to create his own structures and goals.
