I’m sifting through thoughts and stringing them together.
They are wildly whipping through my brain.
You could hear a pin drop in this room,
She and I are stuck in a speaking stalemate.
These are the moments where I’m reluctant to say something,
Because all of the things I’m thinking about may seem cheesy,
Yet it comes from a place of honesty so I’m conflicted.
Should I share these thoughts?
It’d be something like this if I did,
“ With every intimate interaction we come across,
No matter how small or care free it may seem,
It will make ripples in our own lives somehow.
Some interactions are like shock waves, the affects are immediate.
Others are unforeseen until certain points, like shadows.
Milestones can be reaching a new level of comfort with someone,
Exploring a new side of yourself,
Finding pieces of ourselves through interactions with others we didn’t expect.
Maybe we’ll become more to each other than we ever anticipated,
Maybe well grow to hate each other and have something that doesn’t feel fixable.
A deep loathing of sorts that we keep covered,
War scars from a past battle or perhaps a stray we didn’t see coming.
It’s like a tattoo we didn’t even know we had,
It’s there and when we think it’s not showing, we get glimpses of it,
In all of its shame or glory, in vibrant hues we couldn’t even fathom.
And we think the these nights are never going to hold weight
How wrong are we?”
But I just keep these thoughts to myself.
Because honestly I’d feel a bit too vulnerable,
And it may be too much for the mood.

Seeker swoons silently and secretly.
Sound sadness stings in synchronicity.
Searing seeming supplies sad sapphics sweetly.
Animalistic anger amplifies.
Absent aptitude and angst agonize.
Atrocities played always analyze.
Affectionate analogies apprise.

Desire for a deserving death displays.
Discerning a desolate inner daze.
Discovering detest for dying days.
Destroyed and distraught diction delays.

Does death decrease worlds of disrepair?
Does my damsel know my damning despair?
