Why do you people always ascribe this notion of peaceful benevolence and innocence to nature, when evil and sadistic cruelty exist within it as much as it exists within civilization?

Yes, nature has the capacity for good and evil just as civilization does. Animals are often cruel and malevolent to one another

It helps maintain the christian ideology if the masses think that their suffering is due to other people and other people alone, since giving nature the responsibility makes one unable to be vengeful and giving oneself the blame is unbearable.

To even be willfully evil, first you have to possess at least a basic concept of morality in order to counter your actions to some hypothetical "good"

Now give me an example of an animal that possesses such concept of morality, other than human species

Apes, dogs, dolphins, elephants, horses, cats. Honestly, ever single one of them does. Morality was not created by us. It's instinctual.

All learning is a process of remembering what we've forgotten

>> No.7133561

>>7133408
malevolent is a vague term too. you can not define evil in terms of malevolent. The term evil can not apply to non-human subjects. We just think that because we have the power of moral reasoning and we consider ourselves better than/ separate from nature. So a concept of morality is a precedent for morality which we consider only humans to possess. And those acts which go against that concept of morality, willfully and unnecessarily, can be called evil.

human beings ARE divine beings. the image insinuates that human beings are not..

the rest is true. we've broken universal law by imposing our selfishness upon the world and sowing havoc and destruction in our quest for self indulgence.

>> No.7135719

To a dog, good is what its owner wants. Whether that's comforting or visciously tearing apart another dog for sport, the dog thinks it's doing good. Not even good honestly, it's just doing what it should. What it needs to do to please it's owner or in others words, survive.

Animals only think in survival and instinct. I don't think there's good and bad for them.

IMO its not morality but abstraction. The only consistent morality is a purely materialist one, based in the physical facts of power, conquest and domination. The decay began when the human race started replacing objective physical facts with mere symbols. If we are to survive as a species we need to embrace the primordial forces of violence, death and fertility once more, everything else just is a rather poor substitute.
