Can 4chan posts have literary merit? It seems the more rime I spend on these boards the more I end up living my life like a shitpost. At this point I don't think I'll ever contribute anything worthwhile to society because success just seems like a forced meme.

Anyone else living by the shitpost or am I the only one autistic enough to actually do this with my life?

However, I noticed my writing is *far* better while discussing on some chatrooms I frequent than in dedicated novel I tried to produced. So now I just copy everthing worthwhile, edit it and make up dialogues.

You're actually right OP in some regard. There is a reason why we find memes and worthless drivel so funny, and why ordinary life seems so ridiculous. With the infinite supply of information, no one wants superfluous data. You watch a 3 minute fail or fight video YouTube video and everyone is trying to skip to the good part because it doesn't come fast enough. No one wants to take the time to read a book when you can get a summary. People don't pay attention during movies. Why build something big when you can have instant payoff with something silly?
