The real question comes when you consider things like sex and alcohol though.
These should be enjoyed purely hedonistically; however, now people are justifing them as being good for you (sex is good for cardio, a glass of red wine is beneficial to your health).
I don't want to drink and Fuck because it's good for me. I want to do it because it's fun and I like it.
Trying to frame these things in a utilitarian way takes away from their enjoyment in my view.
