Write the first thing that comes to mind. Even if that first paragraph comes out shitty, keep going.
Write until you feel likes it's done or at least make it a thousand words.

The whole thing might suck. A lot of what you write is going to suck. That's the sad truth. Don't let that discourage you. Don't let the fear of writing shit stop of from writing all together.

At worst, it sucks and it goes into shit folder.
At best, after enough editing it'll turn the opening chapter of your novel.

Alternatively, you could put it off until tomorrow. But then, when tomorrow comes, you put it off again. You'll never write anything and never get published. You'll join the ever-growing ranks of hacks who call themselves writers but never actually write anything, which is pretty much half of /lit/.

Don't feel bad, OP. I have a bad habit of not getting to bed early enough and coming home from work the next day dog-ass tired and in no mood to write. I end up taking a failed nap, eating, jacking off, and then barely get recharged again for the next day.

Also if you're just suffering from supposed writer's block, just focus on something specific to write about. There's a reason why kids in writing classes can't write shit when the teacher asks them to spend three minutes freewriting.
