I'm normally not afraid of being a pleb, but the cover warned me off of this at the bookstore today. It is like they went out of their way to make it awful. There are thousands of public domain images of paintings, why use a terrible shoop?

Their old covers all have nice enough paintings on them. No fucking clue why they'd want to change that formula. Even completely blank covers would look better than these photoshop abominations.
