What's the best book to start with Don D?

>> No.7031904

>>7031435
My friend who is a big fan of the Don gave me Mao II. Idk if its the best, but it was very accessible and an interesting read. I'm normally against reading a writer's best/most acclaimed work first (White Noise or Underworld in this case).

Don is the most down to earth post modernist. Love his work.

I tried Mao II first but couldn't get into then read White Noise instead and loved it. Gonna read Libra or The Names next.

Arthur Gobineau and his Essay on the Inequality of the Human Races.

This book nets you bonus points because of the Author's name (damn nigga you readin' dat french shit yo?) and the lengthy title grant you pseudo-intellectual status via cursory glances, and also because it will make people who know what you're reading but can't handle different beliefs or facts that contradict with their own fucking mad as hell.
