This is what I was saying. I don't actually care if you decide against waiting to publish because it only affects yourselves, but any writer worth anything is going to consistently improve and increase the standards of what they put out. You rush into it and eventually you're going to he embarrassed and wish you never sent out your first pieces.
It's not about "getting your name out". That's bullshit, there's nothing stopping you from getting your name out when you can be proud of what you write. "Starting early lets me get more out" yeah more shit to be embarrassed about. Quality over quantity, lads. But don't take my word for it, make your own decisions and you'll see for yourselves.

I'm not saying it's bad to poke at publishing at a young age, but don't expect anything out of it, consider it an internship and it doesn't make a difference if ur published before ur 20s or 30s or not.
