Orwell was a Trotskyist and wrote Trotskyist propaganda. I do not know if he was a pussy though, but saying that of Tolstoy is... imaginative. Was Orwell a Marxist pussy though? IDK, one thing that's certain is that Orwell was a Marxist cunt, for writing the Orwell list. That said, bye bye and ciao cacao. Enjoy your thread and have a sage.

Being rented and having to relinquish control over one third of your life if you want to survive just so that porky won't throw a hissy fit is really terrible tbh.

The arbitrary blockage of democratic practices above the economic level in the lives of most people isn't that great either.

Once you spend any length of time around prolos, you begin to realize how detrimental class rule is in the lives of most people.

Orwell liked to say he was leftist to get under his enemies' skin but he was really a solid conservative writer. He btfo's Communist and Marxist fags left and right and proved their evil even before they did it themselves. He attacked openly the obfuscation and totalitarianism that define the left.

Orwell was anti-authoritarian and anti-fascist, that doesn't mean he cleaved to your particular brand of liberalism that you want to claim is conservatism.

Had you actually done the reading instead of trusting blindly to an online wiki, you would have realized that.

Vietnam and China are successful countries with stable international relations.

>inb4 B-BUT THEYR NOT GOBBUDISD
By that metric then neither were the countries in the Warsaw Pact. They claim lineage from communism and study its application in a consumerist world while practicing market socialism. They've functionally done exactly with capitalism what capitalist countries have done with socialism - take elements that are potentially powerful tools and implement them to their benefit.

Nope, try again, that famine had been a perennial problem in Russia. The famine which you are referring to happened throughout Russia, not just the Ukraine. Stalin himself ordered the mass production of sausages as relief, and after that period there was never another famine again.

I will try to be very patient with you. First, unlike politics will try to make you think there is always only one overarching ideology in a given state/nation, so the very 'fuck ups' that you talk about exist in the same capitalist world as you. I will go further to say that they are a deep necessity of this same system, they are the ones who work at shitty jobs and have low ambitions enough so the upper classes are free to build their companies and factories with their labor.

As I said, their ideologies is deep down the same: 'since the world is ruled by money and every one is fighting each other over it I might as well just do that and fuck everyrhing else'. Meanwhile the only way to create for themselves a identity in this merely disolving world is (since all religious and positive content that is not empirical have been set aside) is by comsuming rather than creating and doing things. Which they need the big companies and comglomerates (and so you) to provide for them.

Then Leon Snowball Trotsky has also been also a "solid conservative writer". 1984 is a pronouncedly blunt illustration for a "degenerate worker's state" and the Animal Farm is "the Revolution Betrayed" and "the History of the Russian Revolution". You should add old Snowball to conservapedia.

Orwell left Marxism later on in life. Particularly after the Spanish Civil War and seeing the Soviet Union put Marxism into practice.

As to OP's question, because we live in the West and Communism used to be the big evil boogeyman with Stalin standing over an array of nukes laughing maniacally and begging the US to give him a reason. Likewise it serves as a good villain because many of it's qualities are quite dastardly (Workers starving in the factories while Dear Leader gets fat, no property while Dear Leader lives in a mansion, collectivism taking away the will of the individual in the most painful way possible, etc etc etc) when you take them to the logical extreme or embellish real life events even slightly.
