I don't doubt it. But other than the quiet/wierd girls who sit at the front of lectures, I wouldn't know where to find virgins at my age. I figured the standard tactics wouldn't work on a girl whose somehow avoided all of that throughout schooling and freshman year.

I never had a /lit/ tier gf.
Had one that was kinda close, she started picking up reading when we started dating (because I mentioned I liked reading). She read the usual college girl stuff like kundera, paz, cortazar and so on.
I think she dated me because I was "rebellious" and wasn't the normal catholic boy.
It was cute for a while but then it turned into the worst relationship I've ever been, left me in shambles for a long time and I still get "ptsd" from it.
She was a virgin catholic girl (because that's how it is in latin america usually) and to be honest it sucks, after losing it and due to lack of education there are two common results:
1. she discovers sexuality but doesn't have the emotional experience to go at it responsibly and turns into a fucking slut overnight (i.e. will cheat on you as soon as possible)
2. she's scared as fuck about sexuality and every step into it is a chore that needs a fucking essay to convince them instead of being an enjoyable process where you discover each other.

No, but for many it seems to be that way.
It's also time consuming to try and match with someone else you aren't sexually compatible.
I'd rather avoid that struggle and just find someone I'm sort of or pretty much completely in touch, or someone mature enough to handle sex in it's different ways and what it might entail.
It doesn't mean they have to accept everything, simply understand that depending on the implicit/explicit rules of a given relationship there are expectations (want them or not) and commitments.
It may sound harsh and imposing but it's just a matter of compatibility on all aspects, like why date a single person if you want to sleep around, or why sleep around if you want a single person. Or why force expectations on someone who isn't either willing to accept or doesn't even know you have those expectations from them.
I think I'm just getting angry over past relationships.
