Is there any MBTI book that goes deep into details and not just a test and description of every type? I feel like every book offers the same generic information. I will also gladly get diracted into some interesting research papers.

Most people who type as INTP or INTJ just tested that way. Anywhere you go you will see a lot of INTJs or INTPs. It's mostly bs, people mistype themselves a lot and lots of them want to be seen as smart. One anecdotal example would be my friending having to take the test in his high school class with a bunch of retards. Guess what? most of them were NTs. People need to start researching the functions, not doing those bs online tests. Unless you're completely self-aware and completely honest, you will get your type wrong.

I always get N, and I always get P.
However I'm always within 10% on E/I and F/T.
So apparently I'm one of the following types.
ENTP

Ordered in their approximate number of occurrences relative to one another.
I feel like when I'm not depressed I'm more ENTP, but whenever shits fucked up (like it has been the past year or so for myself) I revert to a more emotional and introverted and unstable type, swaying me between different types.

Of course you can only be one so assuming this is indeed legitimate (leaving the definition of that up to subjectivity) I am probably ENTP with some other mood issues.
Considering my Aunt is bipolar and my cousin is a schizo (also my grandfather was an alcoholic for many years) it isn't completely unreasonable to assume as much.
