listening to a book vs reading it, i wish to know the pros and contras of audiobooks if there are any. also share your audiobooks here.

You don't get quite the same comprehension from an audiobook. When a book is spoken to you, it's very difficult to get a good sense of how it is written and constructed, so you lose an entire component of the book.

I like them because I typically listen to shit on audiobook that I don't want to dedicate my valuable reading time to, things that are either on the fluffy side or are educational so understanding artistic merit is irrelevant.

They've been a great boost to my reading productivity. Right now I've been mostly listening to lectures on topics I'm interested in so they're more like long-form podcasts.
