I don't know what I was expecting, but this book was boring, guys. Honest question: why do you like it? Should I try his other books even though I didn't like this one?

This is the entry-tier Hemingway, if you didn't like it you won't like the others.

So is this book really about male impotence/virility?
Cuz that cover really drives home the implications of the title.

It is modernist travel writing, it is realistic and an insight into Europe in the '20s and if you aren't interested in historic travel then yes it is probably boring. Try Old man and the sea it's super short and quite thrilling, but it is Hemingway doing Hemingway.

Pleb

And yeah, but it isn't necessarily about impotence. That's just a symptom of the larger issue. I get the quirky jab though
