It's become a snarl word, but I still like it. It's an apt description of current leftism in the west.

Cultural Marxists have the same narrative of history as economic Marxists: a dialectic of oppressors vs. oppressed class, which will eventually lead to equality. Only the cultural Marxists think oppression comes in the form of culture, instead of ownership.

This describes most liberals and tumblristas.

It is a catchall word to refer to the application of the Oppressed Proletariat - Oppressive Bourgeoisie dichotomy to all walks of life. An example is "White people v.s. Non-White people". This is just as silly as the Proletariat vs Bourgeoisie dichotomy because just as there is no proletariat and no bourgeoisie there is no such thing as a "White" person and "Non-White" person.

Well, that and the leftover Soviet subversion from the Cold War. But people don't like to think about that.
