There are so many ways to attack this, that I don't even see a point. So I guess you win.

Is the atrocious formatting of the list part of the trolling?

>> No.688672

Pop-up books aren't /lit/? Fuck you, I love pop-up books.

>> No.688687

This has been posted here numerous times. Please guys, don't let them troll you so easily, it only brings them back!

>> No.688691

If by literature, you mean standard boilerplate fiction written in atrocious prose or translated from atrocious foreign prose, then yes, this list is correct.

Hamlet is a soap opera written in old english, nothing more.

This.

Also, the 'not-lit' section is still lit.

>> No.688733

>>688730
no it is writing, and it is stories, but it is not literature.

>> No.688738

>>688733
Stop being an elitist. If it's writing, it's literature. Look up the definition of the word. Technically a menu is a form of literature - just because you don't consider it as GOOD literature as Joyce or whatever that doesn't mean it's not literature at all.

>> No.688741

>1984 lower than LotR

That sum trolling nigga.

If you are interested in Portuguese or Brazilian literature just give me a theme and I'll help you find the right book

>> No.688748

entry level is not necessarily bad, it is just the entry level of literature - ie the stuff taught at school, aimed at adolescents, etc.

LotR above Waiting for Godot made me laugh.

>> No.688759

You've only watched them both as DVDs, why not read the books now?
