Protip: Capitalize the first letter of the first word of each of your sentences. You should also try to avoid placing each sentence on its own line.

Just brain storm for a long time and right everything that you think about in a outline then write the essay.

if you can't even pass essays by now just fucking give up and become a construction worker or something. seriously, I can get A's on any essay in any university class without even trying and I really wouldn't say I'm a particularly good writer. No really, though, just fucking quit

Translation into non-hate: Go read essays. There are essays on almost everything. Compare yours to theirs.
Then, later, ask questions of your teacher, and actually listen to what the teacher says. Anything you don't understand, at all, in any way, ask a question. The teacher will answer it. At that point you are once again supposed to be listening. It's a shocking suggestion, to engage in this sordid tedium known as schoolwork, but it works very well.
And don't tell me you already fucking do that or you'd have more specific questions for us.

>give quotes etc
quotes are for incompetentfags who can't grasp a concept so they just replicate word for word what someone else said. You should paraphrase, and focus on explaining HOW/ WHY the examples you provide support your thesis. If you don't know what a thesis is, just quit now.

A balance: you do need to quote directly from the text, but try to make every quote you use do some work, and make it obvious you are drawing an interesting point from it.

"Blah blah blah quotey quote," says Anon in thread #688327, using repetition as a device to express his boredom with the topic at hand.

A quote should always be introduced and then explained. It should never be sprung on the author, and the audience should never be left to draw their own conclusions about what the quote is supposed to mean.

A good essay will bring up points against your position, and explain how those points are wrong.

A good thesis is one that has evidence, but not one that is bludgeoningly obvious.
Good: Macbeth by Shakespeare has strong feminist themes as exemplified by Lady Macbeth and the Weird Sisters.
Bad: Macbeth is about the guilt of a man who kills for profit.

It contains grammar examples/exercises (which I don't actually expect you'll do, but if you have a question like who/whom it's useful), proper MLA formatting for almost any case (including how to cite a Podcast), and short How-to's for different types of essays.
