They are—10 episode run slated for 2017. Paul Thomas Anderson is head director AND David Lynch will be doing the JOI movies which will be featured throughout and will be used for the title sequence. I wonder what the song will be...

On another note, does this prove IJ is film-able?

Other than Kittenplan being a qt it was surprisingly good for an indie band MV.

Isn't there another IJ music video?

There was a 24 hour theater adaptation through out Berlin, it included food and transport from one location to the other, leaflets connecting scenes and caffeine pills to make it through.

At least we're getting new Twin Peaks, which is even better

Theatre is the absolute worst medium I can think of for an IJ adaptation.

Literally macrame would be better more suiting.

It was 24 different directors doing their own interpretation of a certain section of the book, in 24 different locations. One of them was in a tennis court while another in a building pretty much designed for this play later adapted to a museum or something.

Any good adaptation has to be different from the literal material in the work

pta is trash and i don't even see david pulling that job off in a perfect world at this point

you'd really need a total madman at the helm, which american film schools don't seem capable of producing
