Translated works are just complete pieces of shit compared to the original, so much so that they're not even worth reading. But if you do read them, you treat them as badly as genre fiction.

This. Even the author himself cant fully replicate on paper his ideal in his head, so even if you are reading a original language it is still a translation of the authors ideal to a physical object
