I've been anonymous on 4chins for (still) longer than I've been this unintentional insect, and lemme tel ya, it was pretty lonely. I had some nice conversations, argued with idiots, learned from some, won "internets", but it was so isolating. I put this garble on (from an old Zalgo thread) and it was mainly for me. I'm not some "tripfag" Tripfags are anonymous trolls playing a part. I was always just being myself. It does make a difference, however slight.
But, I'm in the process of leaving anyway. Little tired of it all.

I made a list of words I didn't know reading Blood Meridian, plus some DFW short stories and other essays.

A lot of them struck me for being really cool, especially the outdated ones McCarthy uses to give the desert a really grand feeling.

I was in the national finals of the Readers Digest Word Power Challenge way back in 2007, the last year it was held. I'd estimate that 20% of the finalists put down "exsanguinate" or "exsanguination" as their favorite word.
