The Stranger
The priest changes his life around and fixes Maulsaults despair by aligning him with the true path and the guards see how he reformed and seen the errors of his way so they let him free and he immediately goes to where his mother is buried and kisses and ground and asks for forgiveness

It would be a Dostoyevsky epilogue tier twist

>The Castle
K. is sent a letter from an admin at the castle saying that they want to talk to him, with an appointment for a week's time. He waits a week, then goes up to the castle, where after a short wait he speaks to one of the (hitherto unmentioned) Prince's secretaries who clearly outlines the details of the job he was originally contracted for. They apologise for the delay and inconvenience he's suffered and give him a bonus to make up for it. He completes the survey of the area especially swiftly due to the time already spent scoping out the area during the course of the previous few weeks and then leaves the village, never to return.

A good joke, given the irony it creates when contrasted with Kafka's usual style, but consider this:

The novel never makes it clear what K.'s actually really after. In fact, it never actually makes it clear whether he's a surveyor in the first place. You never see the other assistants, he never does any actual surveying work, and especially damning is when he first comes to the village and refers to the Castle's recognition of him as surveyor during the first phone call to be "a good move", as though some very delicate and subtle game were at play between them, as though he were assuming the position the entire time. I think that K. just wants something from the castle, to be in the castle, even if he actually is a surveyor. Merely completing the work has nothing to do with his interest there, as evidenced by his refusal to leave when Frieda attempts to persuade him in the schoolhouse.
