I'm going to be institutionalized in a mental ward any day now. I'm fine with it, but I need books. What are the best books to study and meditate on, if one has aspirations to be a writer?

Kek

You should study graduate psychology text books and fuck with your psychologist. Then write a book about it.

Books to read while institutionalized? They'll only let you bring it books that are "positive". When I had to stay in a mental ward, my brother tried to bring me my copy of Crime and Punishment but they didn't let him because it didn't look healthy for me, but when my mom brought to me a copy of The Alchemist, they said it was okay.

I want a woman, and I'm on an involuntary treatment order. If I do a runner I get brought to hospital, where I plan to stay until I meet a woman crazy enough to fall for me

I think you're mixing up the romanticized take on crazy, 'let's elope to spain and have wild and passionate sex', and the 'use a sewing needle to make pock marks on your face while you sleep' crazy.

I am literally sick in the soul. I'm what fathers dare not warn their daughters about lest they be tormented by endless horrific nightmares. I need to impregnate a woman but it can't be rape so it has to be in the ward

Christopher Smart, a great poet, wrote a long poem called Jubilate Agno while confined to a mental institution. You can read a pretty well known section here, in which he writes about his only companion, his cat Jeoffry: http://www.poets.org/poetsorg/poem/jubilate-agno-fragment-b-i-will-consider-my-cat-jeoffry
