Also, I tend to talk too much about literature, artistic movements and philosophy when I'm drunk. Some people like this a lot because they're from college and are therefore interested in lit and it makes for interesting conversation, but most think I'm a pedantic snob or just plain boring.

I just like taking about books, my only hobby is reading so I have few shared interests and don't have conversations with people often enough to be satisfied. I let it out after drinking.

I also compulsively buy books, but I actually read them, at a very slow pace, but I read them. Just do it op, pick up a fucking book and read it. you dont have to finish it or even read 100 pages at once, just read what you can and enjoy it.
