Dear /lit/

I can't stand the labels that we put on people. I hate "hipster" and "intellectual" and "pseudo intellectual". For real, we look like a group of nine yolders. Nobody can dress well or shit anymore. We have to look fugly because we read books, is that it?... Because we read books we should not date?...

I know, you don't have to be a hipster to date or look good, but that's not the point you see. The point is that IT DOESN'T FUCKING MATTER rather you're hipster or TRUE LITERATI lololol desu kawai

We are just people reading. Thats it. I don't think there should be space for shit like callin each other hipsters and what not.

/lit/ is everyone thinking everyone is an idiot except for them. Ask anyone here and they will be able to tell both how brilliant they are and conversely how terrible it is to live in a world populated by idiots. The only worthwhile people on /lit/ are people who post their works asking for feedback, as those are the only people who have even acknowledged they are above criticism and hope for some betterment of themselves. And /lit/, with its rampart narcissism and pretentiousness, makes for a very poor pool of critics. When you look at something presupposing it is going to suck without reading it, you've already failed as a critic and a reader.
