My parents were watching this show recently.

Everyone goes on about what a great writer he is,while he writes nothing. Also the show itself is written badly.
I laughed at a couple of slapstick parts in the little I saw of it, but otherwise it seemed pretty shitty.

It's fascinating how straightforwardly downwards the quality of the show went, with each season.

The daughter and the fat agent also changed their character significantly, and not due to good development.

writing is about sitting alone in a room all day long (sometimes during all your wake hours) and bashing your keyboard/typewriter and trying to create something out of everything you read and experienced over your lifetime. It is not about going around and fcuking every slut you happen to come across. JFC. It is just a goddamn tv show.
