i'm considering an internship with Slate magazine. Is it worth it? Are there any magazines you anon would prefer writing for?

i wouldn't write for slate. not after they posted some piece by some idiot who said that public schools aren't going to get better until more people send their kids to public school, and that a whole generation of people should take one for the team and have their children receive a substandard education just to prove their theory right.
