Irony aside, he's really a very clear writer. It's a shame more STEM students don't take the time to learn how to write, because the few who do know how to organize their thoughts extremely well. I've always enjoyed reading the works of scientists, if only because they help me think and write more clearly.

I'd say they are the two end-games of philosophy. It comes down to personal preference really but they complement each other's work greatly. It's really hard to say which is 'better'; I'd argue they are both equal in both philosophical power and the immense influence they've had on human thought.
