The happiness of your life depends upon the quality of your thoughts.

The best revenge is to be unlike him who performed the injury.

The best revenge is to be unlike him who performed the injury.

It is not death that a man should fear, but never beginning to live.

If someone is able to show me that what I think or do is not right, I will happily change, for I seek the truth, by which no one was ever truly harmed. It is the person who continues in his self-deception and ignorance who is harmed.

>> No.6738455

>In order not to let them [the different social spheres] get rooted and settled in this isolation and thus break up the whole into fragments and let the common spirit evaporate, government has from time to time to shake them to the very center by War. By this means it confounds the order that has been established and arranged, and violates their right to independence, while the individuals (who, being absorbed therein, get adrift from the whole, striving after inviolable self-existence and personal security), are made, by the task thus imposed on them by government, to feel the power of their lord and master, death. By thus breaking up the form of fixed stability, spirit guards the ethical order from sinking into merely natural existence, preserves the self of which it is conscious, and raises that self to the level of freedom and its own powers. The negative essential being shows itself to be the might proper of the community and the force it has for self-maintenance. The community therefore finds the true principle and corroboration of its power in the inner nature of divine law, and in the kingdom of the netherworld.

You're wrong, all economic policies have immediate and continuing/residual effects. If Reganomics required 15 years to /really/ work it wasn't effective policy, exists purely as theory, and not worth supporting. If Reganomics worked immediately the results were regressive and are not worth supporting. It's alright, no one expects Americans to understand anything. Regan was literally an actor reading from a script, we know you live your TV.

>If Reganomics required 15 years to /really/ work it wasn't effective policy, exists purely as theory, and not worth supporting.
I despise Reagan and don't support policies resembling his. I'm describing the way the policies gradually influenced all of society, not saying that I think they were good. They couldn't possibly have achieved their stated goals (unprecedented economic growth) instantaneously because economies take time to grow. It's OK, we Americans wouldn't expect foreigners to understand that.
>If Reganomics worked immediately the results were regressive and are not worth supporting
Again, I don't support Reaganomics. I'm not claiming that they did work immediately, I'm claiming g that after they were instituted it took time for them to have the desired effect. Again, I'm not supporting Reaganomics, I'm just saying that this is what happened. The American economy has grown an awful lot since Reaganomics began, not just because of Reagan but because of things like NAFTA that wouldn't have been possible without Reagan's precedent.
Kindly fuck off. You clearly can't read.

>You're wrong, all economic policies have immediate and continuing/residual effects
The immediate effects are minor in comparison to the long lasting effects of a policy. People do not react the second a law is changed, and laws do not change the second they are passed. Any sort of policy is enacted in steps and will not have it's effects known immediately.
