Each generation, with its respective worldview, is equipped with certain media grammars and media literacy in its youth.

The nature of new generation is also influenced by the nature of the new media.

Of course I'm crazy, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong.

Not op but I've read Prometheus Rising. Should I start with Illuminatus or Cosmic Trigger? Also is quantum psychology worth a read?

Such a fun writer to read.

The average is that which no person quite ever is.

Markoff Chaney, you mean.

i still have my doubts about his pushing the Leary 8-neurocircuit model of the mind, and deciding the 8th circuit was for 'survival in space'.

Personally, I would read Cosmic Trigger next. It gives a certain amount of insight as to where he was coming from when he wrote the Illuminatus trilogy.

I would recommend his interviews and lectures too.
I have listened to "Robert Anton Wilson Explains Everything" audiobook for its 8 hours straight. And while most of his shit is whack pseudo-sciency bullshit and 2deep4you "logic", he is a joy to listen to. He brings many interesting ideas about philosophy and psychology, but keep in mind that, while he considers himself a polymath and a genuine expert on many different fields, he get most of the hard science shit wrong, like quantum theory.
Still...I can listen to him for hour talking about James Joyce and he does talk a lot about him. A lot.

I love his stuff, some of its a bit out there partially from the man probably bathed in acid but he's got some true nuggets of wisdom in there.

His trilogy is what naked lunch wishes it could be. Perverse with a point rather than Perverse for its own sake.
