If you had terminal cancer, and only a few months to live, what books would you read? What would you recommend to an inexperienced reader?

I don't know if I'd read anymore. I see books as a long-haul form of entertainment, and when that haul disappears, I just want to live. I understand the faulty logic, as life will inevitably end no matter the time scale, but still- I'm assuming at this point in time that I have at least several decades to live, not a couple months.
