>maybe if I write out my own edgy experiences it will somehow form into a work of art akin to Dostoevsky

You've got to be rocking and rolling me friend what's this mean when you type up like that?

>example of my work so far:
"Here's about the time I saw a birds beak at the beach but there was no bird on the beak it came off a birds head it might have been a shell."
worried it might be too controversial and off colour.

>recent review of my work:
"This is really bad. I would know because I am a serious smart guy and you wish you were as smart and cool as me. You are really bad at impressing me which you try to do all the time because I rock and roll. Your work is all for me all the time and I don't want it sorry."

I'd reword here's about the time or delete that frame altogether. It's an interesting image. I don't understand why you lack punctuation, either. Lack of punctuation is supposed to speed up the reader's speed, which I think is pointless here. In fact, it's a good image, so linger on it a but more.

Generally speaking you want to speed up the text in an affective manner, like when a character has flight-of-thought from fear or a kind of madness. It should be used selectively, because if it's overused the reader has nowhere to breathe. Also, use apostrophes.
