I sent some stuff to a tiny local literary magazine and when asking for their submission rules they asked me if I had a blog or tumblr with some material to show. I just sent them stuff but I guess it would had been nice to have some stuff in exhibition or something, but what site do you recommend?
Blogspot seems better for text, but it looks like shit and the url is pretty long. Tumblr looks nicer but it doesn't seem to show text too well. Wordpress is generic as fuck if you don't pay.
Do you have material somewhere? do you follow something that look good and I can copy?

They didn't, they asked if I had material somewhere. They didn't require it or anything, it was just an alternative of sending doc files. No one specified "tumblr" or any brand, I assume people have a webpage with their name dot com but I'm to cheap for that.
But I think it would be a nice thing. You can sahre your material with friends or people interested, you just have a simple name that can be brought up out loud and if they want they can check it.

In the mean time create a doc with all your files and in a nice and consistent presentation so you have something to send asap.

After failing to make friends in my first year of college I became extremely despondent and pretty much resigned myself to a life of isolation and emotional detachment, sitting by myself in lectures and no longer making any effort to entertain people or attempt to make them perceive me as a humorous and likeable person. Then, in my second year of college, I noticed a girl in my class who had been in my class the previous semester. She had black hair and brown eyes and a white mouth with big lips and white teeth. She seemed quite popular, which made me instantly dismiss her as a potential girlfriend, despite the fact we sometimes talked in class and often found ourselves in the same work group. After one lecture she called my name as I was leaving the building and asked if I was walking to the main area of campus, and that since I was she would walk with me. She took out a flyer for a theatre performance in which she was playing a black maid, and although I made a somewhat humorous comment about that I was generally too anxious and uptight to say anything to make her laugh or sense any intimacy between us. We crossed a road and she jogged across and then waited for me to walk across before apologizing that she was hyperactive, though her being hyperactive didn't seem fake and didn't repulse me the way hyperactive people usually do. We passed a group of her friends and when she stopped to talk to them I didn't know if that was a subtle suggestion that I should continue walking without her, and not wanting to seem as if I considered myself worthy as her potential mate I stood a few yards away until she said goodbye to them and caught up with me. I made a joke about how she shouldn't have told me where she lived because I've been known to look through girls' windows, and when she said she was on the first floor at the back of the house I said that hadn't stopped me in the past, and although she smiled I felt certain, in an instinctive way, that she found me pejoratively strange and was underwhelmed perhaps at how I really was, having maybe projected an attractive personality onto me in the absence of my displaying one. We never spoke again after that, though I continued to see her in some classes and felt gradually more discouraged the more I saw her and how beautiful she was and how frustrating it was that I had ruined such an obvious chance to prove to her something I privately felt and still feel, namely that I am a nice person to be around and am not as depressed and joyless as I perhaps seem. Over two years have passed since we last spoke and I think about her every day, to varying degrees of seriousness and with varying degrees of emotional investment. She lives in the same city as me now though I have no immediate way of contacting her. Last weekend I created a fake facebook account using an African-sounding name and a fake image, and added her in the hope she would accept and allow me to see her non-public photos. So far she hasn't accepted.
