Nope. People will kill for it, and send others to their deaths for it, but ultimately no one is going to be a martyr for money (unless they don't know that's why they're a martyr). Soldiers who refuse to crack when being tortured by the Viet Cong or whatever aren't doing that for money, and probably couldn't.

Why would people die for the sake of money? You can't spend it if you're dead.

Of course people may take great risks for money, but if you go up to a guy and say 'I'll give you ten million if you kill yourself" he won't do it.

Unless he has some sob story about Tiny Tim's medical bills or something, but in that case he is dying for his family, not for the money itself.
