There's no cartoons in comic books?

Why not just say manga = girls sitting around making whimpering noises. Because I watched a "good" manga once at the recommendation of a friend and that's all it was.

Manga = Still images, often black and white, in a comic book format

Happy?

Also your friend probably has shit taste. Disregarding a whole medium because you didn't like one manga is also stupid. It's like me saying "I read a book once and it was awful. Never again.".

Rumi is New Age mom tier

2pac isn't poetry, and neither is Bob Dylan. They're both poetry for people who don't read any poetry and don't know anything at all about poetry. "MAN this is poetic PASS THE JOINT"

Plath > Sexton. Plath's at least verbally energetic. And Sexton is just shitty W.D Snodgrass. Lowell does Sexton a million times better. Bishop does Lowell better than Lowell.

Frost >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Ginsburg. Ginsburg has like three or four really good poems.

Eliot is adept tier.

A lot of good poetry can be understood by people beginning Poetry. It's good because it grows with your knowledge.

There's people who enjoy Tiger Tiger as a nursery rhyme, there's people who enjoy it for the unity of form and content, and there's people who enjoy it as theologians researching Blake's system across the works.
