How do i become a better writer? How do i learn the mechanics of language and how to use them? How do i get into philosophy and what are some good beginner/intermediate texts?

Any advice would be extrememely helpful.

Starting with the Greeks is literally a meme. There should be another thread open for where to go after, but I don't feel like referencing it.
Try and read stuff with higher level English and you'll naturally improve (like mandelbaulm's translation of the Divine Comedy or Confessions, both good follow ups to the Greeks)

For most people, reading a lot is a prerequisite to writing well.

>How do i learn the mechanics of language and how to use them?
A grammar book.

>How do i get into philosophy and what are some good beginner/intermediate texts?
Literally start with the Greeks.

For you it may be a little painful, but it's just a matter of creating a routine which includes a few moments for writing.

Read, read, read, write, read some more.
The reason start with the greeks is a meme, is because the best way to get better inspired and better understand of what you're reading is to read what your heroes read. No matter which genre you love, you'll eventually get to the russians and the greeks. But, don't start with the greeks, you'll just get there on your own.

They expect one of us to inspect the wreckage of a bygone civilization gnawed by the teeth, brother. Which, all in all, is perfectly fine. The fires of an awakened instinct to write shall rise. It will be extremely painful, you know, exhuming the spooks from within that dead, non-responsive corpse of an ambitious literary genius, but you will thrive. They always do, they always took my advise seriously. I'm here now, for you.

Start with not making the same shitty writing advice threads 2x a day.

There. Your writing just became 95% less annoying.
