Was Mao Zedong a closet anarchist? the cultural revolution was pretty much anarchism. The biographies I have read have indicated he was more influenced and read anarchism before communism.

I love how americans are so retarded and stuck inside right wing politics they use liberal as a term for leftist

Also, yes OP, I am a anarchist, but I have some left-marxist tendencies. I guess they aren't that different, since both are childish diseases

Where can I go to better understand it as a political ideology?

I do not understand the concept "monopoly on violence" usually when I ask really what would change when the power vacuum from the state would let other large "gangs" in, they just say that its the same as we have now which doesn't answer my question.

As I understand it, it can't happen overnight. Even decentrilizing the government in this generation should be done carefully. I haven't put my mind to it enough, but it can only be reached through stages .

Well, anarchists aren't eager to form closed systems of thought, but I believe that only self-responsibility and peer-regulation (as in, everyone keeps everyone in check) are the best ways to allow the "power vacuum" to remain a vacuum

Because anarchists are a bunch of weenies. All bark and no bite, their whole ideology is based on "I dont like it so ill run away from it"

>"I dont like it so ill run away from it"
My gradual acceptance of it came more as "I see what is wrong in the world and this is the the best way to live"

Capitalism as a game is sick and no, I don't want to play it anymore. But I am sentenced to life in this prison because weasels and no-nothings will make sure we play till we all choke and die.

No, one must search for solutions to liberalism without simply being liberalism in hysterics, nor is it a duty or principle to uphold the inviolable rights of those who find themselves felicitously appointed to allocate resources. I trust them to make mistakes without religiously reminding them how to improve their role.

No but I often lean anti-statist.

By that I mean I don't think abolishing government as a whole would work and I'm not interested in whether or not it would. My philosophy is individualist in that it doesn't give a damn what the majority of people do, and in fact would fail if the majority of people could and did follow it (think about Nietzsche with regard to being individualist).

So yeah, I dislike the huge amount of power the state has, and think that, all things being equal, an act contrary to the law is in no way worse, and may even be a bit better.
