Are there any good books on the left-right dichotomy in politics?

What are your views /lit/?

>> No.6404239

My views are probably liked more by right-wingers but i have righties and lefties because they're both spooky

It's false. The proposed dichotomy is such a construct, it's actually obscene. There are so many different ways to look at an issue.

How can there be a dichotomy between two things that are the same?

A history book on French revolution, perhaps?

>> No.6404320

Although not fictional and mainly talking about political parties in general, Robert Michel's "Political Parties" is an excellent discussion on how political parties always have a tendency toward the oligarchical.

Thank you I'll be sure to look into it

I was looking for something more to do with political theories as they stand currently but I appreciate the suggestion

I'd agree. Are there any books that go into this? Even articles or lectures would do.
