This shit was perfect and then it's revealed that the entire war was completely unnecessary. Card should have just left the whole 'were the buggers hostile or not' question to the reader. Fucking hell.

Yes, that pissed me off when it dawned. Most of the book that cheat me only do so because they're trash, not because the author turned idiot at the end.

I just read Shutter Island which was dumb. Ending was visible far before and it was insulting to have that shit served to me.
