What would it be like if /lit/ lived in a house together? Discussing books every night by the bonfire in the backyard, Helping each other plagiarize our essays, playing elaborate practical jokes on the townsfolk, the boipussy

would it be the next bohemian community, like the lost generation?

Everybody sits in their room in front of their PC with the door closed. You will sit in your room, listening to the kitchen to determine whether you can make your Cup Noodles without anyone talking to you. Some fungus will always be present on the gathered unwashed dishes. The power company will send angry letters since no-one pays the bills - no-one wants to be the one who has to look after the organization of the place. The living room will have a few used couches, on rainy days these couches will give of a strange smell. Cockroaches may or may not live in the couches. When your parents come to visit, you are slightly embarrassed when they meet one of your share-mates. Your parents don't like how unclean the place is and quickly drag you to the inner city for dinner.

That's what happens when you live with a bunch of Internet weirdos.

This sounds like where I live now. I-it will all get better when my novel gets published right?

I would be too worried about the rest of you plotting against me. I hope you like the sound of chronic pacing.

a collective group of likeminded procrastinative artists who emphasize potential talent more so than actual talent and disregard practicing or even learning in favoring of intellectual posing, on pedestals they carry on their backs. they have a sudden insight into something, they throw down their pedestal, stand above all the other bewildered artists and yell out obscenities and obscure literary references. the artists gather round and likewise yell back their opinions. some shit on the ground or piss all about in a cognitive dissonant rage. they all wear masks, with this comes their belief in anonymity. they sometimes argue with themselves on their own pedestals, other times they digress from arguments to personally attack someone else in a blatantly fake accent. they individually gather round the town plaza, each during their preferred time, but the crowd is ever present and the non/lit/ stay far away from this plaza. some make the mistake of coming to /lit/ to ask for advice on what they should read, but immediately they are swallowed by pure ideology.

I don't have any fungus outside of my shower, though.

This is some great motivation to work on my writing.
Each night everyone presents their work. The best gets gently love made to them, the worse gets violently rampaged. The rest envy both.

I was skeptical, but now I'm starting to warm to this idea of a shared household. I can imagine the nightly circlerjerks now. Literal as well as metaphorical.
